What v1.0.0 established

v1.0.0 is the first published version of the current portfolio. It established a stable baseline before the larger v2.0.0 revision began.

The goal was straightforward: make the site reliable, accessible and maintainable before expanding its content and visual system.

Engineering foundation

  • Frontend foundation: Astro with strict TypeScript and a Feature-Sliced Design structure that keeps import direction explicit.
  • Styling and themes: Tailwind CSS with light, dark and system preferences.
  • Accessibility: Keyboard navigation, a skip link, reduced-motion support and automated accessibility checks.
  • Quality checks: Playwright E2E coverage, Lighthouse CI, CodeQL and bundle checks as part of the delivery workflow.
  • SEO: Canonical metadata and structured data for the main public routes.
  • Deployment: Vercel deployment integrated into the repository workflow.

What changed after v1

The first release still reflected an earlier, more effect-driven visual direction. It was a useful starting point, but it did not communicate my work as clearly as I wanted. The v2.0.0 work therefore focuses less on visual novelty and more on professional context, evidence, readable case studies and a consistent identity system.
